Quick and Easy Keto Bulletproof Coffee

I love a good cup of coffee and I also love a clean healthy Keto lifestyle. So any opportunity to combine coffee and Keto, this gal is in heaven! This is a super simple recipe for bulletproof coffee that I share with all of my nutrition clients. We also love making these at 1031 Meals for customers while they shop for meals!


Easy Bulletproof Coffee


Ingredients:

  • 12-16 oz brewed coffee (preferably locally roasted or fair trade and non-flavored)

  • 1 tsp MCT oil or organic coconut oil

  • 1 tsp grass-fed butter

  • Stevia or Monkfruit to taste (optional)

  • Cinnamon to taste (optional)

Instructions:


1. Add all ingredients except the cinnamon to a blender and blend for about 5-10 seconds. 2. The result will be a smooth frothy coffee drink that needs no cream.


The grass-fed butter and coconut oil, or MCT oil, take the place of creamer and give your coffee a super silky texture and a wonderful flavor. If you love cinnamon, sprinkle a little on top before serving!

Why do I love bulletproof coffee? When you are in a hurry and need a quick and easy breakfast that is also filling, this hits the spot! The healthy fat from the butter keeps you full for a long time and the MCT oil helps with brain clarity. Many people will feel a burst of energy from the MCT oils within an hour of drinking as well as a longer feeling of satiety.


Coffee also provides natural caffeine unlike energy and sports drinks which are made from synthetic caffeine. Drinking coffee is also closely associated with reduced risk of dementia as well as diabetes. It only becomes unhealthy when we load it up with sugar and unhealthy creamers.
